New Song Center for Grieving Children

New Song Center is a facility open to any child, teen, and young adult in our community, who is grieving the death of a loved one—regardless of whether Hospice of the Valley cared for that family member. New Song offers support groups for youth and families, normalizing grief and building a support community at a time that kids need to know that they aren't "the only one."



Teen Lifeline

A place where teens can help empower teens to help themselves. Dedicated to reaching teens at their time of need, prominent in community education, and providing a hotline answered by peer counselors.



Therapy with Heart - EMDR therapy

Additional counseling resources for couples and families. Local practice with a large staff specializing in many areas of struggle. Monthly blog is a good resource for those grieving as well as couples needing additional support in their partnership.




Local survivor of suicide support page. Includes listing of monthly support groups, and community events to educate and support the newly bereaved by suicide.


Erics House:

Program dedicated to those suffering a loss from suicide or substance abuse, or both. Highlights alternative methods of healing, from spiritual guidance, coaching, body work, weekend workshops and mediumship.


LOSS Team:

Program that specializes in training communities and first responders on how to effectively respond to the scene of a suicide; helping those that are newly bereaved from the moment of their loss and providing hope that support services are available to help them maneuver this unique trauma.
